Photoshop help

Okay so I had recently gotten photoshop 7.0 from a friend. However..I barely know how to use the tools. So if anyone could help me out much appreciated.

hi there! i thought i would let you know that there are some awesome photoshop tutorials on dev art if you type "photoshop tutorials" in the search bar. also =jisuk has one that you might find helpful!
